Colin has won the Welsh Doubles Championship five times. He is the only man to win the “The One Man and His Dog” series in singles and doubles in the same year. Colin has been on the Welsh team several times and has judged the father of all sheep dog trials “The International” along with numerous local trials in his country. Colin judged the USBCHA National Finals two times and the Texas Sheepdog Finals twice along with judging many other US sheep dog trials. Colin authored “One Man’s Opinion” the single most sought after book on Sheep Dog Trial Judging. |
| DON HELSLEY | Caldwell, Idaho to judge the 2007 USBCHA Sheep dog finals. He has agreed to judge if elected to do so.We have known Don for 25 years and we can vouch for his honesty and integrity. Don has been trialing sheep dogs for over 20 years. He has been actively judging for 10 years. He has experienced judging different types of sheep and trialing situations, including many double lifts and International style sheds. He has judged the Northwest Championships and the Canadian Nationals along with numerous prestigious weekend trials in the US and Canada.We have talked to Don about judging the USBCHA Finals in the past , but he declined because he wanted to run his dogs. He said he would gladly accept the challenge if selected. |
| RAYMOND MACPHERSON | MBE, Cumbria, England. Raymond has judged almost every major trial in US and many in the UK. Raymond has trialed since he was a boy. He has won the Supreme twice. Raymond has been on the English Team thirty times and the Scottish team four times. He judged over 250 trials in the US including Joni Swanke’s, ND, Woodbury’s, WY, and many more. He judged the Kentucky Blue Grass in 2005 and the Kingston Trials in Canada. He is a tremendous judge with a vast amount experience, and is very able and consistent and would do a great job judging the finals. |
